Spring is a time of renewal—not just in nature but within us as well. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), spring aligns with the wood element and the liver & gallbladder meridians, which support growth, movement, and emotional flexibility. A balanced liver energy encourages flow, forgiveness, and fresh starts.
This class will focus on Qi circulation through the side body, using acupressure and intentional movement to awaken the body after winter’s stillness. Just as plants push through the soil toward the sun, this is the season to expand, set intentions, and embody new possibilities—physically, mentally, and energetically.

A wall + prop-heavy practice/workshop to support you, your home, and the overall practice.
Set up around using the wall (support), ropes, using eachother, good foundation with blocks and more!
We live in a world were we can be too flexible, over committing, over extending, and on the go forward, which over time can be taxing on our minds and bodies. Wall support is a KATONAH YOGA® workshop style class where we will learn to lean back and feel supported, to set up better measurements + boundaries, and more. From creating a good stable foundation, we can then explore our ability and freedom in the postures.
A recipe using alignment, each other, measures, proof to find stability and structure, and in time ability + freedom.
Mats will be provided. wear clothes that are easy to move in.

KATONAH YOGA® is a syncretic Hatha yoga practice developed by Nevine Michaan of Katonah Yoga Center over 40 years. She and her teachers incorporate classical Hatha yoga with Taoist theory, geometry, magic, mythology, metaphor, and imagination — in a practical framework designed to potentiate personal and communal well-being. Framing the practice, maps of time and personal space are defined and refined. Themes using asana as origami, manipulating form for function, and developing a sense of personal measure are incorporated in Katonah Yoga practices. Katonah Yoga is organized around three principles of esoteric dialogue: all polarities are mediated by trinity; the universe has pattern, pattern belies intelligence; by virtue of repetition there is potential for insight. Disciplined techniques are organized for revelation through revolutions.

This semi-private 4-week educational Pilates foundations series is an opportunity to dive deeper into STOTT principles and build a personal pilates practice. Over the course of four 75min workshop-style classes, students will both practice and learn more about anatomy, form, posture, prop usage, modifications, and personalized exercise.
Postural analyses will help give you a better understanding of your own alignment and potential imbalances.

SPRING TRAINING : PRACTICE FOR THE GAME OF LIFE
5 PM - 90 MIN class
HALF INTERVAL HALF YOGA. Prepare for the season ahead. Learn the importance of technique, skill, precision and timing.
Starting the class with a full-body interval style workout that combines body weight and light weights for resistance to enhance muscle tone and definition. You will learn to build functional strength and improve muscular endurance, helping you feel stronger and more energized as the season changes.
Class will end with a more supportive practice + Katonah Yoga® Asana. We will play with ball + mit fits(baseball). The practice will include learning to fit into, catch, and handle ourselves, letting it act as a reminder that we are there for us so we are prepared for the game(of life).
Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned athlete, the moves can be adjusted to suit your fitness level, making sure you’re challenged while avoiding burnout.

Reiki is a gentle, hands-on (or hands-off) healing modality that supports balance on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. Ari is a somatic energy practitioner, yoga teacher, and Karuna Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki Master based in Richmond & DC. She blends movement, breathwork, and trauma-informed care to help students reconnect with their body and inner wisdom. With a deep background in psychology, Core Energetics, and integrative healing, Ari’s approach is empowering, embodied, and compassionate.
Emme is a Reiki Master, intuitive medium, and sound healer from Northern Virginia. She creates sacred space for soul-level healing and self-remembrance through Reiki, energy work, and intuitive connection. Emme believes that Reiki is a portal for self-discovery, transformation, and spiritual awakening—and loves witnessing students awaken to their own healing gifts.
